Scott and Black walking slowly through the crowds.

    Close up shot of Scott talking into camera, he looks exhausted (natural sound). He talks about their success and about how tired and fatigued they are after flight. Close up shot of Black talking (natural sound). He is saying that he is there because of Charles Scott. After a few words, he says: "Listen, cut the whole lot out..." - and he puts his arm over his head. Item abruptly ends here.

    "Scott and Black" are Charles Scott and Tom Campbell Black.

    "the England to Australia Air Race" - the competition was called the MacRobertson Air Race.

    "Crowds at he (sic) airport run towards the plane" - it's a de Havilland DH.88 Comet, Reg. No. G-ACSS.
