British soldiers visit an Egyptian farm and see how it is run.
FARMING IN EGYPT.
Soldiers greet the head man at a farm in front of the pyramids, various shots of the animals, one soldier picks up a goat. Various shots as local men harvest the wheat, C/U of the seeds. M/S of a threshing machine, a boy sorts through the grist afterwards. M/S as the soldiers wave. Various shots as they try and shovel the grist into the breeze but it blows back on them. M/S's as oxen draw a plough through the fields, and another turns a water wheel. M/S's as the soldiers are served coffee in very small cups, one drinks a toast to the head man.
