Theodor Heuss seated in chair reading. VS. Queues of people outside and inside the Parliament building in Stuttgart waiting to pay their last homage. VS. People file past flag draped coffin. VS. President Lubke addressing large audience, he tells of the great loss President Heuss will be to Germany. Dr. Adenauer and Chancellor Ludwig Erhard are seen seated in hall. VS. In large church the congregation gather for the funeral service, the coffin lays in front of congregation, GV. Pan down church steeple to small crowd around entrance. VS. On the back of a lorry the coffin heads a motorcade through silent crowd lined streets of Stuttgart. VS. At the cemetery the coffin heads a crowd of mourners to the grave, heads of state (Adenauer) are among the mourners.
