    SV Colonel Sir John Hunt, the leader of the Everest expedition, and Tenzing, one of the members, leave plane. Among those who greet them is Minister of War, Antony Head. SV pressmen. SV pan, members of the expedition. Hunt lifts ice axe. STV Tenzing's family. SV crowd waving. Pan with Pugh's little daughter as she runs to meet father. SV expedition members greeting family. CU Pugh with daughter. SV families greeting. SCU New Zealander Edmund Hillary being greeted. CU Hillary. SV pressmen etc., inside lounge. SV Hunt interviewed. He says: "I'd unhesitatingly say the basic reason for our success etc., etc., Our illustrious predecessors of the mountain..." SV Hillary interview... he says: "Main worry though-out rest of ascent was oxygen. Etc., etc., relief that we got there." SCU Hillary interview... he says: "Tensing and I had been climbing together as good deal and were a happy pair and this is an example of how a pair roped together are a unit" (He then tells of fall.) "pulled me up before I fell very far..." SV Tensing interview, off screen voice translates, he was very happy.

    "Tensing" should read "Tiger" Tenzing Norgay. (2 changes required, plus 1 in tags).

    "Minister of War, Head Brigadier Anthony" should read Secretary of State for War, Antony Head.

    "Pugh" is Dr Griffith Pugh.
