    Dunkirk, France.

    GV Destroyer at sea at night with aldis lamp flashing out signal. VS Destroyers and rescue ships, including peace time pleasure paddle boat, at sea coming and going towards Dunkirk.

    VS Excellent shots taken from one of the rescue ships just off Dunkirk, showing ships lying off shore as rowing boats move back and forth between ships and the beaches, men of the B.E.F. (British Expeditionary Force) climbing aboard the rescue ships and also coming out from the beaches through the sea towards the rescue ships. Also LS in fg. dotted with soldiers awaiting rescue.
