This footage shows my late Uncle Clarence (Larry) Carver and his wife Irene winning the Catamaran European Championship[s on 7th August 1968, that year he beat the National Champion Neil Coster who came in second. Talking with Larry he recalled the race, he was neck and neck with Coster and Larry decided to change the batons in the sail and the wind was with him, they won the race by 6 minutes.
