Various shots of buildings collapsing as the stones fall on them.

    L/S of smoke and of buildings collapsing. People stand around with what possessions they could salvage. M/S as they try to save the railway tracks. A man climbs on a train, M/S of the station collapsing behind them while they heave metal rails onto the train. M/S as camera pans across the smouldering lava.

    M/S of a priest stood holding a statue of a hand, he is surrounded by crowds, there are other statues behind. C/U of him holding the hand up, he looks sombre.

    L/S of the lava rolling down. Various shots of walls and houses destroyed as the rocks continue to fall. Various shots of people watching and of the rocks smoking. M/S as people pile chairs and other possessions up, everything is piled high on carts. M/S of people stood about. L/S of the lava and smoke from Etna, the camera shakes. L/S of lots of smoke and fire sweeping across. Various shots of more buildings collapsing. Smoke billows out and covers everything. M/S of people stood in a crowd while rocks fall in front of them.
