M/S elephants in stockade. Various shots as men ensnare the elephants with thick rope.

    M/S rope being passed from one man to another in an attempt to place it around the elephant's neck. L/S men pulling at rope which they have managed to get round an elephant's legs. M/S rope having been secured round the elephant's neck with man making it fast, another roper moves in on his elephant. M/S two men just putting the final touches to the rope around elephant's neck. M/S as elephant, now secured, starts to pull at the ropes as the tame elephants begin to move away. M/S wild elephant with ropes around his rear legs which are fixed to stakes, and a rope around neck. He struggles to move but can't. C/U coil of rope with the end fixed to sawn off tree stump. L/S elephant with ropes around his legs and neck, he struggles for freedom as it lays on the ground. M/S as it tries to get to its feet. M/S two tame elephants being fed. M/S line of tame elephants.
