    Eighth Army wounded arriving by army ambulance at hospital in the North West of England. Various shots of the doctor attending the men in the wards. Various shots of more active patients having a little dance with one of the nurses in one of the wards - Sister Bolland of Leicester. First to dance is Corporal Franklin. Mr Macmillan, a front line priest, has a chat with driver Frampton of London. More men are seen chatting and entertaining nurses. The wounded walk in grounds and pose with nurses.
