    The pilots are lined up on a square. Natural sound as Air Marshall Sir William Sholto Douglas, Head of Fighter Command bids them farewell, then Commander General Spaatz greets them on behalf of the American squadron and welcomes them to the 8th Fighter Command. The American national anthem is played as the pilots salute.
