    Edinburgh, Scotland.

A steam train comes into Waverley Station. Dutch children get off train, a bag piper welcomes them. We see an Alexander Leyland Tiger bus pass down Princes Street. Kids get off bus, Edinburgh castle is in background.

Various shots of kids having dinner in a large hall (St. John's church hall) with windmill table decorations. The kids are served tea and cakes, local dignitaries chat to them (including Lady Provost Dianna Falconer).

The children then do some sight seeing, they watch a bag piper. The children are then collected from outside the hall by their Scottish hosts.

Date given on old records is 07/06/1946.

Cataloguer's note: the Dutch children are on organised holiday as part of post-war European relief programme?
