At large outdoor event. Horse racing. Various shots of prominent Indians and British colonials; Military cadets: young boys of about 12-16 perform rifle drill; marching. Younger boys in Boy Scouts run race; do exercises; run round in circle. Ceremony like Durbar; canopied platform in centre of field. Indian teenage girls in long white skirts and blouses with dark ties; stand behind large British girl in more military type uniform. Possibly these are Indian Girl Guides.
CU table with prize cups; trophies. Duke meets various people. LS group of young boys all at once raise spears or poles in air several times. Car driving along road; through gates. Duke getting into car. Duke giving out prizes at outdoor event. Meets representatives from the youth groups. CU some other bigwig; tall thin white man in top hat (Governor?) talks to man in fez and man in turban. Reception at Governor's mansion. (Jumps around from scene to scene.)
