    Intertitle - 'Mr W.A. Beattie (engineer), with one of the station's giant valves and a receiving valve.'

    M/S of Mr Beattie stood holding the big valve which looks like a big light bulb with a round top, he takes the receiving valve out of his pocket, it looks like a small silver light bulb. He turns them both around. M/S interior of the control room, the camera pans across many dials. M/S of a giant valve in place in its case. M/S of two more valves.
