• Short Summary

Dogs celebrating publication of a new book on dogs care. More fur on women than on dogs - it seems!

  • Description

L/S of people entering a room with their dogs (all poodles). They seem to register at the entrance. One sweet black Poodle wearing red coat walks on two legs following a man in suit. High angle shot of the people with their dogs filling the room. Many women wearing fur coats. M/S of a lovely Cocker Spaniel having his/her paw mark taken into a book. C/U shot of the cocker Spaniel 'signing the book' several times - is he giving autographs?!

Around two hundred dogs are gathered to celebrate the publication of a new book on the care and treatment of dogs. Spaniel was giving autographs after all! Highlight of the evening is a parade of champions. L/S of a woman walking a Corgi across a little stage. C/U shot of Chihuahua eating sausage roll. M/S of a Dalmatian being walked by a woman whose lower body is seen. C/U shot of a dog biting into a sausage held by woman's hand. Low angle M/S of a woman wearing fur coat with Pekinese (Pekingese) dog in her arms. C/U shot of a couple and their dogs (French Poodle and Bedlington terrier). C/U shot of a lovely Corgi's face. M/S of a woman stepping on the stage with a great big hairy dog (some kind of sheepdog). M/S of the Cocker Spaniel looking around. M/S of a little grey Poodle with red collar.

M/S of a great big Boxer guide dog walking a blind man on the stage. This is Kim, a special guest who escorted her owner, former Royal Artillery officer, all the way from Southport, Lancashire. C/U shot of the Spaniel eating from the silver plate. Cut back to Kim and her owner. Another shot of a lovely Corgi. M/S of a woman wearing long fur coat climbing on the stage with a great Greyhound dog. C/U shot of another woman's face with a strange looking dog (Papillon possibly). Back to the woman with the Greyhound. C/U shot of a funny hairy Poodle - looks as if it has beard and moustache.

Note: A man helping the blind man down the stairs is Lord Brabazon of Tara.

    Dear Sirs,
    i have a big question.
My father HERBERT EDER had some heavy weight champion fights in Irland.
That was 1951, 1952 and 1953. He was boxing for the German team.
The name was SV Prag-Stuttgart and he always fighted against the Irland
Heavy weight champion. I belive you have some film documents about
    that period.
Do You see a chance that I will get those films ? I want to make my father
a real special present for his 80th birthday.
    Kind rigards
    Please answer me

Hi Markus. Unfortunately we don't hold such documents on site and they'd be pretty hard to get hold of. But you can download personal copies of the films from the website if you have found some.
