    Odd story about an exhibition of articles made by doctors. An illustration of the types of hobbies doctors have.

    A doctor (not named) demonstrates a telescope he has made himself. C/Us of various exhibits. These include model ships and a steam traction engine in a bottle. One large ship has been made of matchsticks - this was made at sea during the war by Doctor Henny (sp?). A model of the river tugboat Chieftain has been entered by Doctor Fletcher. Part of the tug is lifted off to show interior.

    Paintings and sculpture are also present. C/U of a modern wooden sculpture by Doctor Leask. A hand carved replica of a Stradivarius violin is also seen.

    Doctor Staunton demonstrates his model village which has moving figures. They are powered by cotton reels and other odds and ends. We see him fiddling with the mechanism then by turning a handle on the side, figures are set in motion.
