  • Description

Part of issue UP AND DOING.

    Dartford, Kent.

Various shots of suburban road divided by a fence. On one side is Marriot Road, on the other is Brandon Road. The houses on either road are architecturally different - one side is definitely posher! According to narrator the fence cannot be crossed so there is a quarter of a mile to get from one road to the other.

The roads are still divided today (2014). The fence has been replaced by bollards and the pavements are clear, but the trees are still there in the roadway!

I'd love to know the reason for the division.
