    MS Ovens for cooking bread in an Army desert field kitchen. CU Cooked bread, loaves of it being stacked. VS Catering officer instructs cooks in bread making and they proceed to make large quantity of dough, kneed it and make it into loaves around open air table. The trainee bakers are stripped to the waist. MS Large quantity of cooked loaves.

    MS & CU of General Sir Claude Auchinleck leaving officers' dug-out and posing by staff car, he then gets into car.

    VS In desert a class of British and Australian soldiers receive instruction on various cuts of meat. VS The class is now shown how to use field kitchens and make portable stoves. CU sign on hut "Western Desert School of Cookery". VS Cooked bread coming out of ovens.
