This video was taken after 213 degrees were conferred in November 3, 1923.
One of the KKK members, in the motor car was to represent Timothy Michael Healy, the Governor General of Ireland. Just to note that the students in the hooded robes had XXX written on them, not KKK.
The students in the white robes are meant to represent the staff of the Governor General. They left the University College and taveled to Upper O'Connell Street where they were met by other students and took possession of one of the street cars.
Most of the Rag events in Dublin had a significant political message to them.
