    Seen at 00:21 is the damaged Hotel Adlon, on Unter den Linden in Berlin.

    At 00:24 we see the Brandenburg Gate.

    Seen at 00:26 are the ruins of the Reichstag.

    "Field Marshal Keitel" is Wilhelm Keitel.

    "Luftwaffe General Stumpf" should read Hans-Jurgen Stumpff.

    "Fritz von Thyssen and wife" should read Fritz Thyssen and wife Amelie.

    "Air Chief Marshal Tedder" is Sir Arthur Tedder.

    "Georgi Zhukov" should read Georgy Zhukov.

    "German General Halder and wife." should read German General Franz Halder and wife Gertrud.

    "Pastor Niemoller" is Martin Niemoller.

    "King Christian of Denmark" is King Christian X.

    "General Heine signing the unconditional surrender of Channel Islands" - the General is Siegfried Heine. The signing of the document took place on 9 May 1945.
