Issue title is PATHE PICTORIAL LOOKS AT OTHER PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS.

    Location of events unknown.

Various shots of little boy (Dave) and his small dog (Dusty) walking along pavement next to a busy arterial road. Dave sticks his thumb out - he is trying to hitch a lift from passing traffic. Various shots of cars and trucks driving past, none stop. Dave gets increasingly frustrated. An old man with a big white beard stops to talk to Dave.

More shots Dave hitchhiking. In the end Dave sits on grass looking dejected. A woman on a bicycle passes, Dusty runs out in front of her and sits on his hind legs (cute). The woman picks Dusty up and puts him in her bicycle basket, Dave sits on back wheel - they've finally got a ride!

Note: one of a series of "Dave and Dusty" stories, probably aimed at younger audiences.

The women on the bicycle is in fact my mother, Ivy Bray (nee Fowler). She is now 92 - and still speaks about her role in this clip - of which she is very proud!!

At the time, she lived on the Great West Road - and worked at the Gillette Office nearby at Brentford. My understanding that the arterial road is therefore the A4 - Great West Road - and the clip was filmed as she was riding home for lunch.

I would early love to track down the young boy (presumably in his 70\'s / 80\'s now - to see if there\'s anyway they could make contact. If anyone knows his details, please let me know!
