  • Short Summary

Eccentric dancing in a country house setting by women dressed in Greek tunics - quite funny.

  • Description

Group of women dance in a country house garden setting. They are dressed in flowing dresses with headbands. They dance in bare feet. Very stylised movements. One dancer carries a lyre so perhaps the costumes are to signify ancient Greece. A solo dancer wears a leopard skin and dances with wild abandon ending in a "faint". A small child signifying "Cupid" dances amongst the troupe and wakes the main dancer with a kiss. More wild dancing ensues. In retrospect the dancing is rather melodramatic and funny.

Was item in Eve's Film Review issue 371.

    Safety print exists.
