Using cable cars to build a sea dam in Holland

DAMMING PROGRAMME IN ZEELAND TO PREVENT FLOOD DISASTER
VS. Cable cars travelling over water carrying rocks which are to be used for the construction of the Grevelingen-dam and stop another flood like the one of 1953. The rocks are released into the sea. The special cable railway to carry the rocks has been installed between the islands of 'Goere' and 'Schouwen-Duiveland' .
