    Mass of cyclists coming towards camera at Crystal Palace. They leave the road and start the cross country race. L/S as they come to a wall they dismount and clamber over wall. The cyclist carry their bikes on shoulders and run up slope. C/U cyclists climbing wall. Various shots cyclists carrying bikes up slope. L/S as they remount and go away from camera through wood. Panning shot as they come to another slope, dismount and run up slope. M/S group coming up the slope. When they get to top of slope they have to climb over another obstacle. M/S as they go over obstacle. C/U ditto. Panning C/U as cyclists remount and ride away. Panning shot group coming through wood. Panning shot ditto. Panning C/U as cyclists go into gully along side fence. L/S ditto. C/U as cyclist runs up slope with bike on shoulder. L/S ditto.     The title of the clip should be changed to Cyclo-cross.

    "National Amateur Cycle-Cross Championship" should be changed to British National Cyclo-cross Championships.

    Named by the commentator, and so presumably visible during the clip, are Roger Page, Dave Wren and David Nye.
