Pretty miniature trees are made with wire, crepe paper and wax.
"Crystal trees, a useful decorating fancy for Eve. The chief ingredients are wax, wire and crepe paper - (and a spirit lamp)." C/U of an ornate ornament made from the ingredients listed. Dissolve into a shot of the items required. C/U of woman's hands as she bends wire into leaf shapes.
"Start with the crepe paper." Glue is painted onto the paper. "When the paste is dry, cut out the leaves." C/U of excess paper being trimmed off. C/U of three leaves. Wax is held over the spirit lamp and applied to the leaves. A metal knife is then heated and used to smooth the wax. The leaves are assembled into a branch of leaves.
"You will be astonished how easily these charming decorative crystal trees may be made." M/S of a tree - it is rather fetching! Camera pans to show other trees.
