    Various M/Ss of cyclists biking past the camera. Crowds line the track and little boys chase after the racers. M/S of two boys (possibly race stewards?) standing on either side of a woodland path, several cyclists pass them. Various shots of cyclists biking through woodland. L/S, looking down a slope, of racers pushing their bikes up the hill. Two soldiers with guns come into shot to watch the race. M/S of a cyclist carrying his bike on his shoulders up a very steep and muddy slope - this could be race winner, F. Pelissier. More shots of cyclists carrying their bikes up hill - a crowd of spectators stand at the top of the hill giving them encouragement.
