Crowd watching. SV. Player bowls to John Mills who attempts a hit but the ball goes past to wicket keeper. SCU. Macmillan and Kilmuir watching from deck chairs. SCU. Mills at wicket, ball knocks stumps flying and Mills walks off. SCU. People with newspapers over their hands because it is now raining. GV. Players leaving field - end of match.

    "Attenborough being carried away on a stretcher" - amongst those helping is the famous plastic surgeon Sir Archibald McIndoe.

    Line 10/11 "Harold Macmillan fielding" - actually he's batting.

    "Major Lloyd George" is Major Gwilym Lloyd George, son of the former Prime Minister David Lloyd George.
