    This film shows the war charity match between Lancashire and Yorkshire at Haslingden on 25 August 1915. Amongst the Yorkshire side - who can be seen coming off the field at the start - are George Hirst, Percy Holmes, Schofield Haigh, Alonzo Drake and J T Newstead. Among the Lancashire side are Hampshire and South African bowler C B Llewellyn, J T Tyldesley and C Parkin. The game was one of many played to raise funds to buy 'comforts' for troops.
