    M/S rocky coastline, pan to James McGinn, groundsman at Garlieston House, recovering rubber dinghy from sea shore where Squier landed. He is being helped by Constable Alan Murray.

    M/S Mrs. Squier at the hospital door with Ronald Beaumont, colleague and wartime friend of Squier, he is in charge of experimental flight work at English Electric Company.

    Library shots: air to air shot of Lightening P.l. in flight. G/V plane speeding down runway, pilot is catapulted from cockpit by ejector seat, his parachute opens and he drops slowly to ground. Narrator explains this is how Squier bailed out.
