    World War One. Honours. CU Dwyer; speaking; next to Lord Mayor; other officials. Dwyer w/ Lord Mayor; and another man and a lady; ride in open coach through town - pan on coach moving left to right. Tracking shot of the coach; w/ policeman walking beside it; and civilians walking along on the pavement in BG - little boys staring.

    What's really interesting here is shops; advertisements; etc. in BG as we pass: Nosegay; cigars; chocolate. A sign announcing 'JP Morgan Shot By a German'. Sign painted on window advertising 'Hot Stewed Eels and Mashed Potatoes'. A board of notices posted; a newsagent and tobacconist. A truck passes in other direction w/ sign on side 'Pat a Cake Biscuits'.

    Marching band approaching on street; w/ 3 trombones in front- also civilians walking along.
