Coventry's Tank Week - Part 2.

West Midlands.

War bond fund-raising event with speakers standing on top of the same tank that seems to travel all over the country for these rallies. Opens with shot of various people crammed together - a guy in a powdered wig; the Mayor in his robe and gaudy pendant; and others in BG. Pan across the man in the wig; the Mayor; a soldier and his mother wearing a hat decorated with flowers & fruit.

Next a shot looking up at the mayor speaking; with the man in the wig & others standing behind. Led by several bobbies; a procession of people coming down street; toward camera; seems like mostly elderly men; a few women & younger men; a priest. Then another shot of soldier & his mother; Mayor & the man in the wig; etc. all mingling.

A marching band marches down the street; toward camera. CU Mayor; man in wig; young soldier and another old man; stand on ground next to tank; man peers into opening; pan across men shaking soldier's hand; etc.
