    People (dog owners and spectators) at a greyhound coursing meet - sometimes called Lure Coursing (not racing on track). CUs of men shaking hands; smoking cigars; talking to each other; etc. Some people standing up on some higher level; to see better. Man carrying a bunch of rabbits tied together (these poor things are the lures I guess). More people here & there Nice M/S pan of photographers taking pictures of us. Finally CU of greyhound; with small boy standing next to it; and man bending over giving the dog a rubdown.

    This is the Waterloo Cup at Great Altcar, Lancashire. At one point the traditional blue riband iis tied around the neck of the winning greyhound. The judge is invisible behind his horse but the man next to him is Edward Wilkinson, the slipper, who releases the dogs. The dogs chase hares, not rabbits.
