The new bridge over the River Spey is opened by the Macintosh of Macintosh.
Full title reads: "Grantown. Concrete - but beautiful! The Mackintosh of Mackintosh opens new bridge over the Spey, the largest concrete span (240 ft.) and coloured to harmonise with the countryside."

The Macintosh of Macintosh, dressed in full Scottish Highland regalia comes to cut the tartan ribbon across the bridge.
A procession is lead across the bridge by men playing bagpipes. They stop half way across to unveil as memorial tablet. CU Inscription.
Another ribbon is cut at the other end of the bridge and the procession moves off.
