The princess helps unveil a memorial by removing the flag of St. Andrew. She shakes hands with officials and helps to lay a stone into wet mortar, which is lowered from above. She is cheered by young soldiers waving caps. The princess wears a fur trimmed coat and is handed a spade by an officer She shovels in some earth and plants a small tree. The officer salutes. M/S sentry at gates.
Note: The princess looks a little bemused as the officer hands her a spade as she's not sure what to do with it.
