  • Description

    Colonel Beyers.

Location of events unknown / unclear.

Various shots mixed group of several British military officers, including Colonel Beyers, and civilian men exchanging greetings; handshakes; in wide open space; next to parked jeep. LS military review in progress with Union Jack flag on pole at left. MS Cavalry. Then soldiers marching; followed by Highlanders in kilts. LS platform; with several men watching - some civilians. CU civilian man.

Pan on entire screen full of soldiers - bearded and scruffy and messy - some on horseback; some in front on foot. Many wear wide-brimmed hats; with brims drooping down. Also men with ammunition hanging over their shoulders. Some are waving hats in a cheer. Shot of same from higher. Look like something out of American Old West.
