CU. Football (title super over). Start of the Scottish FA (Football Association) Cup semi-final between Clyde and Glasgow Celtic. GV. Celtic kicking off in hooped shirts. GV. Massed crowds. GV. Clyde attacking but Celtic get it away and it is cleared up field. GV. Celtic attacking. Watson, the goalkeeper, is right out of his goal and Celtic man is in possession. Watson dives at his feet and the ball goes loose. Sharkey runs in and slams the ball into the goal. Celtic 1 - Clyde 0. Players congratulate. SV. Massed crowds. GV. Celtic attacking again. Their forward tries to run through but he is brought down by Haddock and Keogh and Clyde clear up field.

SV. Ball running towards the Celtic goal area, Clyde attacking. McPhail is through. He shoots but Dick Beattie pushes the ball up into the air, runs out and grabs it and kicks up field. GV. Celtic attacking. Celtic player beats his man and pushes the ball out to Collins who receives. Collins dribbles, beats Haddock and crosses ball into goal area. It runs loose where a Celtic man receives and shoots but it is pushed round the post by Watson. SV. Crowd. GV. Celtic attacking. Fernie going through with the ball. Keogh turns him over and the referee points for a penalty. GV. Massed crowds. GV. Clyde goal area. Mike Haughney running to take penalty and he crashes the ball past Watson to make it 2 - 0. SV. Crowds.

GV. Celtic attacking. The ball is crossed into the middle. Watson who has dashed out of his goal dives on the ball. It runs loose and is centred back into the goal area. Celtic forward heads the ball into an open goal where a back is there to clear it off the line. Ball comes out to Kemp who receives to clear. GV. Massed crowds.

(Half Time). Football - Scottish Cup semi-final. SV. Celtic goal area. Clyde on the attack it goes out to Hill who chops it back into the middle where a forward McPhail shoots, he slices his kick and the ball goes out to the right wing again. It is crossed back right into the Celtic goal where a Clyde forward jumps and heads the ball, it beats Dick Beattie but Fallon who is standing on the goal line heads it out from under the bar. The ball goes loose and Hill runs back into the goalmouth to get it, but is beaten to the ball and Celtic kicks up field to clear. GV. Massed crowds. SV. Celtic goal area. Clyde attacking again. The ball runs loose where two Celtic players go for it, but Kemp dashes in between them, comes out with the ball. Goalkeeper is advancing and Kemp shoots. Beattie blocks the shot and falls over. The ball has gone loose, but Beattie still laying on the ground twists himself round and dives on the ball. He gets up and kicks up field.
