    Clogs.

    Location of events unknown - somewhere in the north of England.

    Two men saw up a log. Someone chops it with an axe and others craft the sole shape from the wood. The camera pans across hides for uppers as they are treated. Various shots of the process, they are stamped out, cut and sewn. Various shots as sole and upper are fitted together with clog nails. C/U as a woman puts them on her feet. C/U of the girls who work in the factory walking out in their clogs. M/S of the laughing girls lined up.
