Various shots of two traditionally dressed Austrian peasants fitting a butter churn to a sluice crossing a river. The cream is poured into churn barrel, then as the water turns a cog on the sluice the churn rotates. Various shots of wooden channels diverting stream passed house. The peasants use the flow of the water to turn more cogs that work a conveyor belt. The belt carries logs up to the firewood store in top of house.

    Various shots of natural geyser in Herlany, Eastern Czechoslovakia. It is in a town square and has a pond built around it. Crowds of people surround it.
