Brief shots of the arctic camp that the ship is bringing supplies to; a man rolls a dead whale over on the ice (?). The captain of the ship looks out from the deck as the ship cuts through ice on her voyage. A polar bear walks over the ice beside the ship and carries off an empty basket left by the crew.
