  • Description

    Titles read: "CINETOPICALITIES IN BRIEF".

    Various locations of events.

In Johannesburg, South Africa, we see various shots of bare-chested young men doing exercises on a sports ground at the Rand Agricultural Show. They use poles for stretching and partner exercises. Commentator says the men are members of a special service battalion.

In the Austrian Alps, we see men of the mountain regiments going through their training on snowy mountains. They walk up hills with their skis on, then ski down slopes, learning to "avoid disaster while travelling at speed".

Various shots, probably in Germany, show a shepherd leading a flock of sheep and cattle down a snowy mountainside to a valley. The shepherd carries a sick lamb.
