Maine's Hill Tower is repaired plus the view from the top of the RCA building in New York.
Titles read: "CINETOPICALITIES IN BRIEF".
United States of America.
At Maine we see the famous Hill Tower being cleaned and repaired. Scaffolding covers the bottom half of the tower. A man examines cracks in the stonework. Stone masons are lifted to the top parts of the tower on pulleys.
In New York, we see people getting into a lift in the RCA (Radio Corporation of America) building - Radio City? The elevator attendant takes the passengers to the 70th floor. At the top we see fabulous view of the city in all directions. People look out at St Patrick's Cathedral, Central Park, Queenborough Bridge, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Tower, Hellgate Bridge and the Hudson River. (Footage probably dates from mid 1930s.)
