Various shots of old cigarette labels and adverts. C/U of a female hand holding a cigarette, it disappears and she doesn't know what to do with her hand. Various shots of an artist (Joe Noble ?) smoking heavily whilst painting. A 'film star' reclines on a chaise longue and has her nose powdered whilst holding a cigarette in a long holder.

    M/S diagram showing how far all the cigarettes you smoked in a day would stretch. Various diagrams show how many cigarettes worth of tobacco are wasted in a day by people of different occupations. A man has the last part of his cigarette on a stick to smoke as much as possible when it gets too short to hold. Various shots of a family sat around smoking a hookah which burns down very quickly. A 'doctor' examines a man's throat which is sore. He asks him how he got it and he says it was cigarettes, not smoking them but asking for them.

    "picture of the man who invented the first cigarette" - his name appears to be Robert Gloag (possibly Robert Golag).

    "A man holds 'threes' " - they were actually called Sweet Threes.
