    Various shots of Winston Churchill wearing his brown derby hat during visit to an army regiment. He is with his wife (Clementine), daughter Mary and Sir Archibald Sinclair. He meets a soldier dressed in German army uniform and goes on to see equipment in use by the army. The party then go out and watch the army in action. They view the action of events from behind a rough stone wall. M/S Churchill being met by a Mayor on arrival at a railway station. Various shots, Churchill meeting some workers, inspecting unit of Home Guard and then driving off in open car while standing up and waving his hat.
