  • Description

Note: The location of the events in this film are unknown.

Full titles read: "Introducing CHITA - The famous young dancer from Mr Cochran's Revue. - "Chita" has the perfect feminine figure, plus the dancing urge and easy grace of an accomplished Artist."

Various shots of Chita dancing on stage in a very skimpy outfit and a top-hat. She performs a variety of high kicks. Unfortunately the music that accompanies the story does not appear to be the same music that Chita is dancing to.

This is the same routine (though cut differently) as appears in \\\'Figuire Perfection\\\' (https://www.britishpathe.com/video/chita/query/chita) a silent clip. This act was probably part of C.B. Cochran\\\'s Trocadero Cabaret, London. C. B. Cochran established the London Pavilion in Piccadilly Circus as the home of revue. In the 1920s and 1930s the first night of a new Cochran revue was an annual theatrical highlight and a big social occasion.
