Tyneside sees the launch of a massive ferry to carry trains from Nanking to Pukow in China.
Full title reads: "Walker-on-Tyne. China's first Train Ferry - for service between Nanking & Pukow - capable of carrying 21 waggons on 3 rail tracks of 300 feet each - launched by Mdme. Quo Tai Chi."
