    LS Exterior of the High School in El Cerrito, California, where pupils have built an atomic energy plant. MS Entrance doors, pupils entering. LS A school teacher (Ben Siegel, Head of the Science Department) explains the cyclotron to his senior physics class, by means of blackboard drawings. (2 shots).     Note: "Date received" on original paperwork reads: 23/6/47. Also on paperwork: "Materials for the student-built installation cost the school board only 500 dollars. The completed unit is worth 7,000 (dollars). The idea for the project was born three months ago when the class visited the nearby University of California cyclotron. Capable of a on-million-volt output, it will be used by these junior scientists to radioactivate phosphorous and other elements for donation to medical institutions".
