    M/Ss of a crowd of people walking up the steps to the Budo Temple; some men are dressed in identical robes - could be monks? L/S shows the crowd surging towards the temple and a raised platform to the side of it; many are holding hats out to catch something being thrown.

    Intertitle reads: "... to catch a bean, brings a change in luck!"

    Several shots of monks (?) and their female equivalent throwing handfuls of beans into the crowd. People in the crowd hold out upturned umbrellas, paper parasols and hats to catch the beans; they all look very happy.
