    Various shots of Egyptian delegates leaving their London hotel. All wear fez hats. We see them waiting and getting into taxis.

    Interior. M/S of Egyptian delegates and British politicians and dignitaries in the Locarno Room of the Foreign Office. They sit around the table. Sir Anthony Eden M.P. (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs) stands and gives a speech. The Egyptian Prime Minister shakes hands with Eden and gives his own speech in French. M/S of Eden and the Egyptian Premier signing the Anglo-Egyptian treaty. Eden makes speech closing signing ceremony. All the delegates and dignitaries get up to leave.

    Note: no records could be found of Egyptian Prime Minister's name in 1936. In 1934 it was Abdel Fattah Yehia, by 1938 it had changed to Mustafa El-Nahas (aka Nahas Pasha). AH 2001.
