Fishermen in the Bahamas hit fish on the head, Austrian women soften hemp for spinning and bridal hairdos are seen at a Brussels hairdressing competition.
Titles read: "Caught by the camera".
Various locations of events.
In the Bahamas, West Indies, we see the local fishermen walking through the shallow water of the sea with flaming torches. The glare attracts the fish, that are struck on the head with sticks by the men.
In the Tyrol in Austria, peasant women knead hemp to make it soft enough for spinning and weaving. An old woman spins the softened hemp.
Various shots at an International Hairdressing Competition in Brussels, Belgium, show bridal hairstyles being created - very pretty. Brief shot of the models walking slowly down a catwalk in bridal gowns. Only blondes are seen - must have been the 'in' hair colour in 1935.
