    Great C/U of a girl's leg as she pulls a nylon stocking on.

    We then see various shots of the different processes involved in making nylon stockings. Shots of the looms, girl workers attaching the heels by machine, stockings being put on leg shapes to check for holes and weaknesses, men dyeing the stockings in vats in the dyeing house.

    Stockings are then put on outsize leg shapes to dry and press them. A girl factory workers checks a stocking. Cut to a woman in her bedroom examining a stocking with a satisfied look on her face. Commentator says "And so a lucky girl will soon be able to say to envious friends, "I've got some real nylons, dear"."

    Cataloguer's note: for those interested in the difference between nylons and normal rayon stockings, commentator says here that nylons are half the weight of rayons.
