• Short Summary

A new trailer which can be dismantled to make a motor boat and a caravan.

  • Description

    Ripley, Surrey.

A story about a trailer called the Nomad which can be dismantled so half makes a motor boat and the other half a small caravan / tent. There are several shots of the covered trailer pulled along by a red mini. Various shots as a woman, Linda Dickman, and a man park and take the top off the trailer. They assemble the caravan and the boat using the equipment in the trailer. This involves putting a frame and a canvas on the bottom half to make the caravan, and turning the top half over and fitting a motor to it to make the boat. The man sails away to do some fishing.

It was interesting to see this video. We have a larger version of this same trailer. It was manufactured in Kitchener, Ontario. Sold at United Trailer in Calgary, Alberta. We have been taking it to car shows behind a 1954 Dodge. It makes quite a picture. Would love to find other owners or those with further info about these trailers.
